The Koreans have implemented their new recharging road for it’s public transportation system. The Online Electric Vehicle (OLEV) can carry a bus-loads of tourists around a Seoul amusement park and operates on a battery five times smaller than conventional EV juice packs.

The crazy thing is that it collects energy through non-contact magnetic transmission from the recharging strips in the ground.

Now I hate chinese people just as much as anyone else, but this video is pretty damn good. Particularly since it’s filmed entirely on an Apple iPhone 3GS. The airline industry has officially gone too far! Abusing this “extra weight on the plane and reducing flying efficiency” has finally amounted to a ticket costing less than the associated baggage cost.

An airline ticket with United Airlines cost $119.40 round-trip and $120 for 2 bags checked both ways. REALLY?! That’s crap because I could totally just buy $120 of shit when I arrive at my destination and then ditch it when I fly back. It’s really quite ridiculous…you can’t see very well in the video but the European Poker Tour was being filmed live when apparently 6 armed robbers (with machine guns) came in and made off with 1 million euros in cash.

Awesome…this could be a new way for criminals to make a living. Why go to a bank when you get assault a much easier target like a poker tournament. One would think that the security guards who get paid $8/hr and have stun guns would have attempted to be a hero. Alas…no courage in this video folks.

Sorry Toyota, I don’t know if I can ever trust you again. I’ve seen too many people sobbing on Foxnews about your acceleration problems ruining their lives and killing babies. Unfortunately death does not seem more appealing when paired with sales.
